Community Event with City Hall

GENECT, in collaboration with Beppu City Hall and the Sakuragaoka Community Center, will host a community exchange event bringing together local senior residents and APU students. Participants will enjoy Tanabata-themed activities, including decorating bamboo branches with wishes and ornaments, followed by interactive games and conversations. Through meaningful intercultural and intergenerational exchange, the event aims to create a warm and inclusive environment where students and elderly residents can learn from one another and build lasting community connections.
