The first semester of the 2022 Model United Nations Conference will be held on October １ and ２. The Model United Nations Conference is a simulation of an actual United Nations conference in which participants take on the role of ambassadors of various countries. Participants negotiate and make speeches in order to solve problems of the international community. The topic of this year's conference is the situation in Kosovo. Kosovo, located in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula, has been in a civil war since the dissolution of the former Yugoslavia. During the escalation of the civil war, NATO tried to stop it by intervening with air strikes. This intervention has been described as a "legitimate, albeit illegal, military intervention.
