Oita Animal Welfare Center

Hello everyone, this is Ohana!
When you hear the terms “rescue dogs” and “rescue cats,” what comes to mind?
At this event, we’ll be visiting the Oita Animal Welfare Center—a place most people rarely get to enter. There, you’ll find dogs and cats waiting for new families, as well as the “reality of life” that many of us are still unaware of.
・Why are some animals taken into shelters?
・Are pet stores really necessary?
・What does it mean to be responsible for a pet?

We want this to be more than just a “cute” experience—we want to spend time seeing and feeling the animals’ current situation with our own eyes, and thinking about it together.
This event is perfect not only for animal lovers,
but especially for those who say, “I don’t know much about it.”
It might be a day that changes what you take for granted.
Why don’t we take this opportunity to think about life together?
