Minna no Kyoshitsu
On April 18, we held the third session of the “Life Classroom: Let’s Participate in Animal Welfare Activities!” at Minna no Kyoshitsu.
For this event, reflecting on the previous session, we focused on creating content that was easier for children to understand, rather than emphasizing difficult topics such as euthanasia.
Additionally, as in our first event, we invited Aloha, a former breeding dog, and held an interaction session. The children appeared to greatly enjoy spending time with her—petting her, giving her hugs, and engaging with her in a lively and heartwarming manner.
During the fabric remake activity, the children were deeply absorbed in embroidery, transforming unused cloth into wonderful creations.
Furthermore, this time we were honored to have coverage from cable television in Beppu City and Hiji Town, as well as OAB Oita Asahi Broadcasting. Although we felt nervous being interviewed, it was a valuable and memorable experience.
Lastly, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Minna no Kyoshitsu for their extensive support, from publicity to on-the-day operations. Thank you very much for your kind cooperation.
