Smile Chain

We, Smile Chain, are working to deepen the understanding of disabilities and aim to create a community filled with smiles. Unfortunately this video is not available in English, so we will describe the video contents here.

We started with the intention of supporting students with disabilities so that they can do more of what they love. Currently, we are not only supporting students with disabilities, but also building community, and reaching out to other students and teachers.

In the past, we held “8-Day” events to promote interaction among our members, and events to learn about disabilities and sign language together.

There are many different kinds of disabilities. In Japan, there are about five categories of disabilities, including intractable diseases.

We hope this will be a good opportunity for you to learn more about disabilities.
