Pre-Week 2023: Ebony Valley

Pre-Week 2023 Ebony Valley is an event held within the framework of Vietnam Week 2023. This is a Vietnamese cultural exchange event for APU international students and local residents of Beppu City. After three years of not taking place due to a coronavirus infection, CommonViet and VietnameseWeek have decided to resume the event to continue the tradition and gradually bring the international students and locals back to their normal way of life.

Pre-Week 2023: Ebony Valley's theme will be about the Northwest Mountains of Vietnam and will feature indoor and outdoor booths to maximize the experience of event participants' journey to the Northwest Mountains of Vietnam. The following booths will be set up:
Game booth:

　　Board game booth: Checkers (Vietnam) and Chinese
Chess
Experience booth:
　　A booth decorated with dragonflies
　　Booth decorated with Vietnamese folk paintings
　　Booths for weaving hill tribes
All booths will be closed from 18:20 to 19:15 (tentative) to enjoy performances by Vietnamese circles: V-step (Vietnamese dance), Viet Sound Lab (acoustic music), Vovinam (martial arts club)
