Wadaiko Raku is a group where we enjoy performing the traditional Japanese art of Wadaiko together. At APU, we are surrounded by people from many different backgrounds, and we really value the connections and interactions we build within this unique environment.
Learning Wadaiko takes a lot of practice, so we gather during class breaks and on weekends to practice seriously and give it our best for each performance. Because we put so much effort into our practice, the moment we hear the audience’s cheers and applause feels incredibly rewarding.
If you are interested, why not join us and create powerful, soul stirring sounds together with your teammates?
