The Kamegawa area is home to many students living near the university. Students who live and work in Kamegawa, drawn to the warmth of its people and unique culture, are creating a community hub to preserve this wonderful, aging neighborhood.
Utilizing a vacant shops in the Kamegawa Shopping District, HIIRAGI will operate a community space where local residents can gather, connect, and share information. The space will serve as a base for ongoing, everyday activities and regular events that foster community interaction.
Following a soft opening in December, the official opening will take place in January.
