We are HALO, a hair-loss awareness group! Our motto is “Stand by Alopecia.” We support people experiencing hair loss, and we’re committed to raising awareness about the real-world situation of hair loss through events and social media, both within APU and beyond.
“Hair loss” refers to the state of losing hair, often called “alopecia” in English.
People experiencing hair loss exist not only in Japan but all around the world. Since APU has many international students, we believe we have the potential to carry out awareness activities that leverage its global character.
