APU Myanmar Association

APU Myanmar Association is a student-led organization that represents Myanmar culture within the diverse community of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University (APU). Our mission is to create a welcoming space for Myanmar students and promote cultural exchange on campus. We organize various activities throughout the year, including city tours around Beppu for new students, Myanmar gathering events, and performances such as the Thingyan Music Festival. In addition to celebrating our heritage, we also participate in meaningful initiatives such as fundraising efforts for natural disaster relief and join cultural workshops to share Myanmar’s unique traditions with others. As the core foundation behind Myanmar Week, our biggest annual event, we take pride in introducing the rich heritage of Myanmar to the APU community through performances, exhibitions, and cultural experiences.
