The Korean cheerleading team in Japan will engage in regular practices, performances, and cultural exchange activities. Our primary goal is to provide a dynamic platform where members can improve their cheerleading skills while embracing cultural diversity. Practices will be held twice a week, focusing on physical fitness, cooperation, and the enhancement of cheerleading techniques. Each practice session will include warm-ups, skill development, and team routine formation.
Throughout the year, the team will perform at local events, cultural festivals, and sports games, showcasing our cheerleading skills. These performances serve as an opportunity to share Korean cheerleading techniques while incorporating elements of Japanese culture, symbolizing unity.
Additionally, we emphasize fostering lasting friendships through cultural exchange events, where members learn about each other's cultures and celebrate various national holidays rooted in both Korea and Japan. Our goal is not only to promote cheerleading but also to encourage mutual understanding and respect between nations.
The Korean cheerleading team leverages APU's international diversity, welcoming members from various cultural backgrounds. By incorporating different cheerleading styles from around the world, we encourage participation from students of all nationalities and genders.
