In our circle, we learn about food loss and create traditional dishes and sweets from around the world using ingredients obtained through interactions with farmers. Specifically, we visit farmers who are at the forefront of addressing food loss, and purchase produce that is perfectly edible but unable to be sold on the market due to minor blemishes. We then learn about the background of traditional dishes and sweets from around the world while cooking with these ingredients. We plan to divide into small groups to interact with the farmers, so if you are interested in learning more deeply about food loss or if you are curious about traditional dishes and sweets from around the world, please come and experience it for yourself!
