APU Food Pantry IRODORI

Conduct food pantry (an activity to distribute donated food, surplus food, and disaster preparedness food provided by companies free of charge) and food drive (an activity to collect food no longer needed at home) in APU and Kamegawa area to reduce food loss and support families and students suffering from the high cost of living. There are few organizations that conduct food pantry in Beppu City, and we would like to provide an opportunity for many people to participate in food pantry, an initiative that can actually reduce food loss. We would also like to provide an opportunity for people to become aware of the problem of food loss and to learn about the existence of the Council of Social Welfare and food banks.
