Bangladesh Week 2026

Multicultural Week

Activity

Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University is celebrated as a vibrant hub of cultural diversity and unity across Japan and the Asia Pacific region. Students from all over the world gather at APU to pursue knowledge, build meaningful connections, and proudly share their cultural heritage while gaining new perspectives through cross-cultural exchange.

In this spirit, the Bangladeshi student community proudly presents Bangladesh Week 2026, to be held from July 6–10 as part of APU’s traditional Multicultural Week. This year’s theme brings a gentle touch of the Bangladeshi rainy season—a monsoon that inspires music, art, poetry, and the everyday rhythm of life. Through this celebration, we hope to share the warmth, colors, and creativity that define this beloved season.

Throughout the week, the APU community will be invited to experience Bangladesh through a series of lively and immersive events, including an energetic Opening Parade, flavorful food booths representing authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, a musical night inspired by monsoon melodies, and a vibrant Grand Show featuring dance, music, and cultural storytelling.

With this week-long celebration, our vision is to deepen cultural understanding, strengthen unity among students, and create memorable experiences that reflect APU’s spirit of multicultural learning. We warmly welcome everyone to join us as we bring the charm and monsoon spirit of Bangladesh to the heart of APU.
